Non-functional tumors can cause hypopituitarism due to their size and mass effect.
Diagnosis of pituitary disorders involves clinical, biochemical, and radiological assessment. Clinical evaluation focuses on symptoms related to excess or deficiency of pituitary hormones. Biochemical testing includes hormone assays to confirm hypersecretion or hyposecretion. MRI is the imaging modality of choice for pituitary tumors.

Management of pituitary disorders requires a multidisciplinary approach involving endocrinologists, neurosurgeons, radiologists, and pathologists. Regular follow-ups are essential to monitor treatment response and manage potential complications.

The complexity of these disorders necessitates a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective treatment.
