Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) is a severe cardiovascular condition that requires immediate medical attention. Risk stratification plays an essential role in ACS management. The introduction of high-sensitivity cardiac troponins has improved the early diagnosis of ACS. Furthermore, risk scores like the GRACE and TIMI scores have facilitated a more personalized approach to ACS management, helping clinicians tailor treatment strategies according to individual patient risk.
In conclusion, the management of ACS has seen significant advancements, particularly in pharmacotherapy, interventional cardiology, and risk stratification. These advancements have led to improved patient outcomes, reduced mortality rates, and a more personalized approach to ACS management. However, continuous research and development is crucial to further improve ACS management and patient outcomes.
