Description:

Welcome to our podcast. Today, we’re exploring Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, commonly known as COPD. COPD is a group of progressive lung conditions, including emphysema and chronic bronchitis, that make it hard to breathe. The main cause is long-term exposure to irritants like cigarette smoke, air pollution, or workplace dust. Symptoms often start gradually and include persistent cough, shortness of breath, and wheezing. While COPD cannot be cured, early diagnosis and lifestyle changes, such as quitting smoking and getting regular exercise, can help manage symptoms and improve quality of life. If you or someone you know experiences these symptoms, consult a healthcare professional for proper evaluation and support.
