Speciality: Hematology

Speaker:

Dr. MOHSIN AHMAD KHAN | Consultant Hematologist

Description:

Welcome to the podcast. Today, we’re exploring the key signs and symptoms of leukemia, a type of blood cancer. Leukemia often begins with symptoms that can be easily overlooked, such as persistent fatigue and frequent infections. You might also notice unexplained bruising or bleeding, small red spots on the skin known as petechiae, or swollen lymph nodes. Some people experience bone or joint pain, night sweats, or unintentional weight loss. While these symptoms might be caused by less serious conditions, it’s important to consult a healthcare professional if they persist. Early detection of leukemia can make a significant difference in treatment outcomes. Stay informed and take care of your health.
