Speciality: Ophthalmology
Description:
Welcome to our podcast. Today, we’re exploring digital eye strain—what causes it, and how you can prevent it. Digital eye strain, sometimes called computer vision syndrome, happens when we spend long hours staring at screens. Symptoms include dry eyes, blurred vision, and headaches. The main causes are poor lighting, improper screen distance, and not taking enough breaks. To prevent eye strain, follow the 20-20-20 rule: every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds. Adjust your screen brightness, position your monitor at eye level, and remember to blink often. Taking these simple steps can help protect your eyes in our digital world.
