Speciality: Obstetrics and Gynecology

Speaker:

Description:

Welcome to our podcast, where today we’re focusing on menopause and the common symptoms women may experience. Menopause is a natural phase in a woman's life, typically occurring between ages 45 and 55, marking the end of menstrual cycles. It happens as the ovaries gradually produce less estrogen. The most common symptoms include hot flashes, night sweats, mood changes, sleep disturbances, and changes in menstrual patterns. Some women may also experience joint pain, memory lapses, or a decreased interest in intimacy. While these symptoms can be uncomfortable, they are a normal part of the transition. Understanding menopause helps women prepare and seek support if needed. Remember, every woman's experience is unique. Thank you for listening.
