Speciality: Dermatology

Description:

Welcome to our podcast, where today we’re exploring the different types of acne. Acne is more than just the occasional pimple—it comes in various forms. The most common type is whiteheads, which are small bumps under the skin. Blackheads are similar, but their surface is exposed to air, turning them dark. Papules are red, tender bumps, while pustules are similar but with a white tip caused by pus. More severe forms include nodules and cysts, which are larger, painful, and can lead to scarring. Knowing which type you have is important for choosing the right treatment. Remember, if your acne is severe or persistent, consulting a dermatologist can help you manage it effectively.
