Speciality: Gastroenterology
Description:
Welcome to our podcast. Today, we’re exploring how to recognize symptoms of Inflammatory Bowel Disease, or IBD. IBD mainly includes Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Common symptoms to watch for are persistent diarrhea, abdominal pain, and cramping. You may also notice blood in your stool, fatigue, and unintended weight loss. Some people experience loss of appetite or even fever. These symptoms can vary in severity and may come and go. If you notice these signs for more than a few days, it’s important to consult a doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment. Early detection can help manage IBD effectively and improve quality of life. Stay informed, and don’t ignore persistent digestive issues.
