"Dear Doctor's Participate In This Fun And Exciting Quiz On Erythema, also known as redness of the skin, is a common symptom of various medical conditions. The underlying cause of erythema usually distinguishes its appearance and duration. In most cases, it is caused by tissue inflammation due to infection or injury. When pathogens invade the body through cuts or abrasions on the skin surface, immune system alert cells trigger an inflammatory response that results in redness and swelling at the site of injury. This type of erythema clears up when the infection disappears; however, some people may develop chronic erythematous lesions due to autoimmune diseases such as lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. In addition to infections and autoimmunity disorders, exposure to sunlight radiation can also lead to erythema called sunburns. The severity of sunburn determines how long it takes for erythematous lesions (red areas) on your skin heals completely. Participate Now"
