Understanding the mechanisms of drug interactions is thus vital for optimizing patient care and minimizing harm.

Additionally, adopting a patient-centered approach that considers the patient's preferences and values can improve medication adherence and overall health outcomes.

By deepening our understanding of drug interactions and implementing comprehensive management strategies, healthcare professionals can ensure safe and effective medication use. As the prevalence of polypharmacy continues to rise, it is imperative that we continue to innovate and adapt to ensure optimal patient care.
