For primary headaches, abortive and preventive medications are the mainstay of treatment. Secondary headaches require addressing the underlying cause.
Healthcare professionals play a critical role in managing headache disorders. They need to provide patient education, guide them in identifying triggers, and help them adhere to treatment plans. Regular follow-ups are essential to monitor progress and adjust treatment as necessary.
