Stadol (generic name: butorphanol) is a powerful pain reliever that is used in hospitals and other medical settings to provide relief for moderate to severe pain. It is similar to morphine in its effects, but it is much shorter acting, so it is often used for patients who cannot tolerate the longer-acting morphine. Stadol can be given intravenously, intramuscularly, or subcutaneously.
When it comes to pain relief, Stadol is one of the most powerful options available. But how does it work?
Stadol works by binding to opioid receptors in the brain and spinal cord. This reduces the transmission of pain signals, providing effective relief from moderate to severe pain.
