Recent years have seen the emergence of novel therapies for migraine, including neuromodulation devices and monoclonal antibodies targeting calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP). These therapies offer promising avenues for patients who are unresponsive to traditional treatments.
In conclusion, effective migraine management requires an individualized, multifaceted approach that encompasses both pharmacological and non-pharmacological strategies. Understanding the underlying pathophysiology, staying abreast of emerging therapies, and tailoring treatment to the patient's needs are key to optimizing outcomes.
