Bronchial thermoplasty is a novel non-pharmacological intervention for severe asthma. This procedure uses thermal energy to reduce the airway smooth muscle mass, decreasing bronchoconstriction and improving asthma control. However, its long-term safety and efficacy are still under investigation.
