High turnover rates, burnout, and persistent shortages threaten care quality and patient outcomes. Modern workforce models must balance the needs of nurses with organizational goals and patient care standards. This review explores these models, emphasizing evidence-based strategies that address the multifactorial determinants of workforce sustainability in nursing.
