For morbidly obese patients or those with obesity-related complications, bariatric surgery might be a viable option. Procedures like gastric bypass or sleeve gastrectomy have shown significant long-term weight loss and improvement in comorbid conditions.
Obesity management requires a comprehensive and innovative approach, integrating various disciplines and strategies. As healthcare professionals, staying abreast of these innovative strategies is vital to provide optimal care to our patients.
