Reduce the risk of having a heart attack or stroke in people who have coronary artery disease or peripheral vascular disease. Ticlopidine is usually taken twice daily with or without food. To help remember to take ticlopidine, take it at around the same times every day. Patients should take ticlopidine exactly as directed.
