Olecranon fractures are a common type of elbow injury, typically caused by a direct impact or fall onto the elbow. These fractures can be painful and debilitating, and can lead to long-term complications if not treated properly. Traditionally, olecranon fractures have been treated with open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) surgery, but there are several innovative treatments that may be more effective and less invasive. In this article, we will explore some of the more out-of-the-ordinary treatments for olecranon fractures, including minimally invasive procedures, regenerative medicine, and other novel approaches.
