Ultrasound is the cornerstone of thyroid nodule imaging, providing valuable information about nodule size, shape, composition, and vascularity. Active surveillance is often chosen for low-risk nodules, while surgery is reserved for nodules with high-risk features or those causing compressive symptoms.
