The most significant being the management of immune-related adverse events, which necessitates a multidisciplinary approach and careful patient monitoring.
The future of immunotherapy lies in personalized medicine, with the development of therapies tailored to individual patient's tumor characteristics. Moreover, combination therapies, harnessing the power of different immunotherapies or traditional treatments, hold promise for improving patient outcomes.
Immunotherapy has significantly impacted the landscape of cancer treatment, offering hope for patients with previously untreatable cancers. As physicians, it is crucial to stay abreast of this rapidly evolving field to provide the best care for our patients. Continued research and collaboration are necessary to overcome the challenges and fully realize the potential of immunotherapy.
