Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a prevalent global health issue, characterized by persistent respiratory symptoms and airflow limitation. This article aims to provide a comprehensive guide for healthcare professionals on the diagnosis and treatment of COPD.

Regular follow-ups, patient education, and support for self-management are key to improving patient outcomes. Healthcare professionals should also advocate for COPD prevention strategies, such as smoking cessation and reduction of exposure to occupational and environmental risk factors.

Through comprehensive care, healthcare professionals can significantly improve the quality of life of patients with COPD and reduce the burden of this disease on healthcare systems.
