Its ability to disrupt bacterial cell membranes and inhibit microbial growth makes it particularly effective against plaque-forming bacteria, such as Streptococcus mutans and Porphyromonas gingivalis, thus reducing the risk of gingivitis and periodontitis.(3)
Mechanisms of Action:
