Management should be tailored to the specific cause of the abdominal pain. This may involve medical therapies, surgical interventions, or supportive measures. In addition, patients should be educated about their condition and the importance of follow-up to monitor their response to treatment.
In cases where the etiology of the abdominal pain remains unclear despite initial evaluation, or where specialized management is required, referral to a gastroenterologist or surgeon may be necessary. Furthermore, consultation with other specialists such as a gynecologist or urologist may also be beneficial based on the patient's symptoms and risk factors.
