Surveillance with ultrasound and alpha-fetoprotein levels every six months is recommended for early detection. Treatment options include surgical resection, liver transplantation, and locoregional therapies.
Understanding and managing the complications associated with liver cirrhosis is crucial in improving patient outcomes. This involves a comprehensive approach that includes early detection, appropriate interventions, and regular surveillance.
