Managing functional decline in patients with multiple chronic syndromes is a major clinical priority, as these individuals frequently experience reduced quality of life, increased healthcare utilization, and higher mortality rates. Functional decline refers to a sustained deterioration in physical, cognitive, or psychosocial abilities, often resulting in loss of independence. Case-based learning has emerged as an impactful educational methodology for clinicians, fostering critical thinking, application of evidence-based medicine, and improved interdisciplinary collaboration.
