Treatment options include surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy, depending on the stage and location of the cancer.
Adrenal incidentalomas are tumors of the adrenal glands that are discovered incidentally during imaging studies for other conditions. While most are benign and non-functioning, some may secrete excess hormones. Management depends on the size, hormone secretion, and potential for malignancy.
Adrenal disorders, while complex, can be effectively managed with a thorough understanding of their pathophysiology, clinical presentation, and treatment options. As healthcare professionals, it is crucial to stay informed about these disorders to provide optimal care to patients.
