Speciality: Physiology
Description:
Welcome to today’s episode, where we’ll explore how our bodies respond to dehydration. When we don’t drink enough water, the body quickly senses the drop in fluid levels. The brain signals thirst, prompting us to drink. At the same time, our kidneys work harder to conserve water by concentrating urine. If dehydration continues, we may experience symptoms like dry mouth, fatigue, and dizziness. Blood pressure can drop, and the heart has to work harder to circulate blood. Severe dehydration can even impact organ function. Remember, staying hydrated supports every system in our body. So, listen to your body’s signals and make hydration a daily habit. Thanks for tuning in.
