Speciality: Endocrinology

Description:

Today, we’re exploring thyroid disorders—a group of conditions that affect the thyroid gland, a small but vital organ located in your neck. This gland produces hormones that regulate your metabolism, energy levels, and even your mood. The most common thyroid disorders are hypothyroidism, where the gland is underactive, and hyperthyroidism, where it’s overactive. Symptoms can range from fatigue and weight changes to anxiety and irregular heartbeats. Thyroid disorders are often diagnosed with blood tests, and most are manageable with medication or other treatments. Early detection is key to maintaining good health. If you notice unexplained changes in your body or energy, consider speaking with your doctor. Stay informed and take care of your thyroid health.
