These therapies, which include TNF inhibitors, IL-17 inhibitors, and IL-23 inhibitors, have dramatically improved outcomes for patients with moderate to severe psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. These treatments effectively reduce inflammation, clear skin lesions, and prevent joint damage, offering patients a higher quality of life. However, despite these advancements, several unmet needs remain in the management of psoriatic diseases.
One of the key challenges is that not all patients respond to current therapies, and some may experience diminished effectiveness over time.
