Speciality: Orthopedics
Description:
Welcome to our podcast on sports injuries: prevention and recovery. No matter your activity level, understanding how to protect your body is essential. Most sports injuries, like sprains or strains, happen from overuse, improper technique, or lack of warm-up. To prevent these, always start with gentle stretching and gradually increase intensity. Proper equipment and good form go a long way. If you do get injured, early rest, ice, compression, and elevation—known as RICE—can help reduce pain and swelling. Don’t rush back into activity; listen to your body and follow medical advice for a safe recovery. Remember, prevention is the best medicine when it comes to sports injuries.
