This simulation course is a high-caliber, immersive educational experience that provides anesthesiologists with a powerful advantage, as simulation education demonstrates a direct upgrade in patient safety and quality of care. Simulation education is an innovative training method where anesthesiologists problem-solve in a setting closely replicating actual clinical experience during surgery
Course realistically recreates challenging anesthesia crisis resource management scenarios. Each participant serves as the primary anesthesiologist for a team-based scenario, a responder for others as well as an observer for some. Following each scenario, all participants engage in a facilitated, constructive conversation focused on practice improvement in the participants’ clinical setting.
