About Conference
This course provides an overview of point of care ultrasound, with a focus on pediatric anesthesia indications for use in the perioperative period. It is designed for providers with limited or basic knowledge of point of care ultrasound. Through a combination of lectures and hands-on practical sessions using live pediatric models and simulation equipment, course attendees will learn ultrasound fundamentals (physics and principles of scanning) and ultrasound scanning techniques.

Properly acquire cardiac images and evaluate for cardiac function and volume status, Properly acquire lung images and evaluate for pneumothorax, pleural effusion, and interstitial disease, Demonstrate how to use ultrasound for peripheral and central line access
