About Conference
This course provides an overview of point of care ultrasound, with a focus on pediatric anesthesia indications for use in the perioperative period. It is designed for providers with limited or basic knowledge of point of care ultrasound. Through a combination of lectures and hands-on practical sessions using live pediatric models and simulation equipment, course attendees will learn ultrasound fundamentals (physics and principles of scanning) and ultrasound scanning techniques.
