Managing cardiovascular risk in diabetic patients is a complex, multidimensional task. It requires a thorough understanding of the interplay between diabetes and cardiovascular diseases, as well as a patient-centered approach to care. By assessing and mitigating cardiovascular risk, healthcare professionals can significantly improve the prognosis and quality of life of diabetic patients.
