Deciphering the complexities of CVD risk assessment requires an understanding of traditional and emerging risk factors, the role of biomarkers and imaging, and the potential of integrative risk assessment models. As our understanding of these elements deepens, so too will our ability to accurately predict and prevent CVD, ultimately improving patient outcomes.
