Management of neuromuscular disorders is predominantly supportive, focusing on symptom control and improving quality of life. However, disease-modifying therapies are emerging, particularly for genetic disorders, revolutionizing the treatment landscape.
Neuromuscular disorders are complex and varied, requiring a thorough understanding and a multidisciplinary approach for effective management. As healthcare professionals, staying updated on advancements in diagnosis and treatment is paramount to delivering optimal patient care.
