Advancements in ACS management have primarily revolved around pharmacological interventions and invasive procedures. The introduction of high-sensitivity cardiac troponin assays has improved early diagnosis and risk stratification. Furthermore, the use of novel antiplatelet agents such as Ticagrelor has shown superior efficacy in reducing recurrent ischemic events.
Best practices in ACS management involve a multifaceted approach. Early diagnosis and risk stratification using the GRACE score are essential.
