Upon patient presentation, immediate assessment of hemodynamic stability is paramount. Therapeutic options range from pharmacological interventions, such as proton pump inhibitors and vasoactive drugs, to endoscopic, radiological, or surgical interventions. The choice of treatment should be individualized, considering the risk of rebleeding and complications.

By understanding the etiology, adopting a structured diagnostic approach, and applying appropriate treatment strategies, healthcare professionals can effectively manage this complex condition and improve patient outcomes.
