Recent advancements in hepatitis diagnostics have improved early detection and disease monitoring. High-resolution imaging techniques and genomic testing have enhanced the precision of diagnosis and staging of liver disease. Additionally, the advent of point-of-care tests for hepatitis B and C has enabled rapid diagnosis, even in resource-limited settings.
The therapeutic landscape of hepatitis has been revolutionized by the introduction of direct-acting antivirals (DAAs) for hepatitis C.
