They are instrumental in providing patient education, coordinating care, and supporting families and caregivers. Moreover, they can advocate for policies and resources to address the growing public health challenge of dementia.
Understanding the complexity of dementia, its diagnosis, and management strategies can equip healthcare professionals to provide better care for patients and their families. Continued research, education, and advocacy are vital in tackling this challenging and prevalent condition.
