This approach, known as precision medicine, has the potential to significantly improve patient outcomes.
In conclusion, the management of epilepsy has significantly evolved over the past decade. The introduction of new AEDs, neuromodulation techniques, advancements in surgical interventions, and the advent of genetic testing and precision medicine have all contributed to this progress. It is crucial for healthcare professionals to stay updated on these advancements to provide the best possible care to their patients.
