Given the multifactorial nature of IWL, a multidisciplinary approach involving primary care physicians, specialists, dieticians, and mental health professionals can often yield the best outcomes. Regular follow-ups are critical to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Unexplained weight loss is a complex medical issue that requires a thorough, comprehensive approach for effective diagnosis and management. A systematic method of differential diagnosis, combined with a multidisciplinary management strategy, can help demystify this clinical enigma and provide optimal patient care.
