Providing patient education on breathing techniques and lifestyle modifications can also enhance care. Devices like portable spirometers and capnographs can provide real-time, accurate data on lung function and carbon dioxide levels, respectively. Telemedicine platforms can allow for remote monitoring of patients with chronic respiratory conditions, enabling timely interventions and reducing hospital visits.

By thoroughly assessing respiratory status and implementing appropriate interventions, healthcare professionals can significantly improve patient outcomes.
