These tools consider variables such as age, gender, cholesterol levels, blood pressure, diabetes status, and smoking history.
Implementing these strategies requires a systematic approach. Understanding and implementing risk assessment strategies can help healthcare professionals identify high-risk patients, guide treatment decisions, and ultimately improve patient outcomes. Overcoming the challenges associated with these strategies will require continuous efforts towards patient education and technological advancement.
