Specific treatments such as antibiotics, antivirals, immunosuppressants, or discontinuation of an offending drug may be required. Early recognition and treatment of severe conditions like meningococcal disease and Stevens-Johnson syndrome can significantly improve outcomes.
Fever with rash is a clinical conundrum that requires a comprehensive and systematic approach for accurate diagnosis and management. A keen clinical acumen, supported by appropriate investigations, can help clinicians navigate this complex diagnostic challenge and provide optimal patient care.
