Encouraging patients to adopt a heart-healthy lifestyle is an essential component of SCD prevention. This includes regular physical activity, a balanced diet, smoking cessation, and stress management. Patient education and regular follow-ups can help reinforce these lifestyle changes.
In conclusion, preventing SCD requires a multifaceted approach that includes accurate risk stratification, pharmacological interventions, use of ICDs, and lifestyle modifications. By adopting these proactive measures, healthcare professionals can significantly reduce the incidence of SCD among their patients.
