Multimorbidity defined as the coexistence of two or more chronic conditions in a single individual poses significant challenges for internal medicine. The management of such patients requires comprehensive, individualized approaches that account for disease interactions, polypharmacy, and patient preferences. The advent of digital health technologies, particularly multimorbidity dashboards, offers clinicians a powerful tool to synthesize and interpret clinical data. These digital interfaces support informed decision-making, risk stratification, and care coordination, aligning with contemporary priorities for personalized medicine and value-based care.
The global prevalence of multimorbidity is rising, especially in aging populations.
