Abstract

This review synthesizes current evidence on the epidemiology, pathophysiology, clinical features, and management strategies for postmenopausal gynecologic health conditions. Special emphasis is placed on the mechanisms underlying genitourinary syndrome of menopause, sexual dysfunction, pelvic floor disorders, and neoplastic risks. Non-hormonal therapies are first-line for mild GSM, with local estrogen favored for persistent symptoms after excluding malignancy. Systemic hormone therapy is reserved for selected women after risk assessment. Routine screening for pelvic floor disorders and sexual dysfunction is advocated. Postmenopausal bleeding mandates prompt evaluation. Shared decision-making, regular reassessment, and multidisciplinary collaboration are essential. Clinicians are encouraged to stay abreast of emerging therapies and evolving evidence.
