Regular monitoring of lipid levels and patient adherence to therapy is essential. The frequency of follow-up depends on the patient's initial lipid levels, response to treatment, and overall cardiovascular risk.
In summary, understanding the pathophysiology and management of dyslipidemia is crucial in reducing the burden of cardiovascular diseases. A patient-centered approach, involving lifestyle modifications, pharmacotherapy, and regular monitoring, can effectively manage dyslipidemia and mitigate cardiovascular risk.
