This article explores some of the innovative approaches in sleep apnea management that are revolutionizing patient care.
Telemedicine has emerged as a powerful tool in sleep apnea management. This technology allows healthcare professionals to remotely monitor patients' sleep patterns, reducing the need for in-clinic polysomnography. It also facilitates patient education, follow-up, and adherence to treatment plans, particularly Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) therapy.
CPAP remains the gold standard for treating sleep apnea. Recent advancements in CPAP technology have made these devices more patient-friendly.
