With the ever-increasing demands in healthcare, outpatient department (OPD) management has become a core aspect of hospital administration. To optimize efficiency and patient care, innovative strategies need to be put in place. This article discusses some of these strategies.
Integration of technology in OPD management can significantly improve efficiency. Electronic Health Records (EHRs) can streamline the process of patient data collection, storage, and retrieval. Telemedicine can facilitate remote patient consultations, thereby reducing patient waiting times and overcrowding in the OPD.
